Abstract

Participate at the 10th OCT & RETINA FORUM 2026 by sharing your work with colleagues. The OCT & RETINA FORUM offers excellent opportunities to learn from the latest research and practice, to network with experts and colleagues and to expand your professional horizons.

To be part of the scientific programme you have to submit an abstract that will be reviewed be the Abstract Review Committee.

All the accepted abstracts will be presented and discussed in a poster walk session scheduled for Thursday, March 19th:

  • Poster walk: 2 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for discussion. The poster walks will be held in the poster area in front of the poster. A powerpoint presentation is not necessary.
    The recommended format for the poster is 70 x 100 cm (vertical orientation) and will be displayed throughout the event.

KEY DATES

Abstract Submission Deadline: November 24th, 2025
Notification of the acceptance: December 3rd, 2025
Registration is compulsory to present an abstract during the Congress.

FORMAT OF THE SESSION

During the 10th OCT & RETINA FORUM, there will be a Poster Walk. The Scientific Committee chose this direction to maximize the poster presentation and give participants the opportunity for greater discussion and interaction.

Only 3 best posters will be selected for a short oral communication.

ABSTRACT CATEGORY

When submitting your abstract you will be able to choose between these four categories:

  • Original Research Abstract – Abstract summarizing an original study by presenting new data and results
  • Review Article Abstract – Abstract presenting review articles that summarize the content and conclusions of a literature review, providing an updated synthesis on a specific topic
  • Case Report Abstract – Abstract describing a single interesting clinical case
  • Case Series – A study of cases, usually 3–6, not enough to be considered original research

• The complete abstract text must not exceed 3.200 characters including spaces (approx. 350 words)
• All abbreviations must be defined the first time they appear in the text, before being used as an abbreviation only
• Structured abstracts are mandatory. The abstracts should clearly state the Purpose, Methods, Results and Conclusions
• Tables, charts or other graphics must be uploaded as images
• Please don’t add double information in the text (title, authors and affiliations)
